Hi - I am having trouble with the continuous simulation function in ASIM. I have enabled the "Continuous Variation" option and added data to the .CIN.CSV file that was created, but when I try to run a simulation I first get the error "Invalid numeric input", and if I try again I get the error "I/O error 32". Is there anything else that needs to be added to the continuous variation file that was created? Thanks, Jack
Hi Jack Please send me all files of your ASIM project by email. I will try to find out what's going wrong. I will send you additional instructions to use continuous simulation. Regards, Rolf
Hi Jack Please avoid having the .CIN.CSV file opened in Excel or another application if you use it in ASIM. Excel locks it for use of other applications. Regards, Rolf
Hi Jack It's a problem of the list separator in the csv file. There is an internal routine which assumes semicolon as list separator. All other ASIM code uses the active list separator (in your case comma). I will prepare a new version with bugfix. Kind regards, Rolf
Thanks Rolf, the new ASIM version worked perfectly!
